Alessandra (Ale) Bagattini
Brazilian-trained Psychologist & Registered Counsellor
Alessandra (Ale) Bagattini is a Brazilian-trained psychologist and registered counsellor in Australia, with over ten years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults through emotional and life transitions.
Her work is grounded in Gestalt Therapy, which values awareness, authenticity, and presence within the therapeutic relationship. Ale integrates creative, play-based, and body-aware approaches to encourage emotional expression, self-regulation, and connection.
She is currently completing additional training in Intercultural Counselling, deepening her understanding of migration, belonging, and identity. Having lived this journey herself, Ale brings sensitivity to the silent changes, invisible efforts, and emotional shifts that come with starting over in a new culture.
Ale feels especially connected to working with children, supporting them through emotional challenges and transitions using play and creativity as pathways to healing and self-discovery. With adolescents and adults, her work often explores identity, relationships, grief, and cultural adaptation.
Her approach is warm, relational, and culturally sensitive — inviting each person to move at their own pace, reconnect with themselves, and find meaning in their journey.
