Sar Friedman
Sar Friedman is the founder of Cocoon Bondi and one of Sydney’s most highly regarded women’s health somatic practitioners. She is known for her holistic, interdisciplinary and trauma-informed approach to healing.
Blending her expertise and devotion to working with body, mind and feminine wisdom, Sar has woven Cocoon as a living ecosystem of care, bringing together a collective of practitioners and facilitators offering a full spectrum of holistic services and community-based experiences.
Over the past 15 years, Sar has developed and refined her craft through extensive training with leading teachers across bodywork, yoga, somatic integration, holistic psychotherapy, neurophysiology and feminine spirituality.
In her work, Sar integrates body-oriented therapies with deep inquiry, supporting clients to expand their capacity for self-awareness and to cultivate a more integrated and resourced inner and outer life.
She works with individuals, within relational and family systems, and facilitates group work and women’s circles. Alongside her private practice, she is a clinical group therapist at South Pacific Private, Australia’s leading treatment centre for addictions, trauma and mental health.
Grounded in a deep, lived understanding of her own body and psyche, Sar offers a practice rooted in presence, safety and attunement, where clients are met with care, depth, and the possibility of being truly seen, heard and welcomed home.
