If you are struggling with emotional difficulties or navigating life’s challenges, working with a dedicated therapist can be profoundly transformative. I can offer you compassionate, supportive relationship in which you can explore your concerns, process your history and learn to understand your inner world. Most of my patients seek to resolve anxiety, depression, mood disorders, complex PTSD, or substance and process addictions. But therapy can do much more than just relieve specific symptoms – it can cultivate a whole new sense of perspective on life: a true sense of belonging to yourself and the world. I have helped many patients, just like yourself, overcome self-defeating patterns, discover values and purpose, and move toward more satisfying and meaningful ways of being.
I am a therapist at South Pacific Private, Australia’s leading treatment centre, and see patients in private practice. I am a Certified Practising Counsellor and registered member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia.
My approach is primarily humanistic, person-centred, attachment-focused and trauma-informed, which means you will always have my utmost attention and unconditional support. In therapy, you can expect me to maintain a holistic, non-pathologising outlook that invites psychodynamic and existential understandings to help you generate perspective, insight and acceptance. I have witnessed time and again that people who can trust themselves to engage in a genuine therapeutic relationship will, in time, develop insight and experience healing that can transform even the deepest despair into real peace, self-acceptance and contentment.
